I think one of the things that made him proud was that I would tell him "no" and do things that he would expressly not do. It also made him horribly frustrated (which was sometimes the point). Never fear that I am myself nor that I have supplanted that in an effort to live up to an ideal that I know all to well was ofttimes not ideal. Perhaps I should have stated it in the following way: ...live up to the family name of my Fathers... Theres quite the history of artistic endeavour in my line. My grandfather was taught to silver-smith by Black Bear Bosen (sp?) and then taught Dad. So its in the blood and I have a reputation to maintain even if it is all in my own head. :) Arthur_Bromaire |
