    Open House at the Castle

    Monday, December 3, 2007, 07:40 PM [General]

For those of you who have expressed an interest in helping...

Ly Kasimira will be having an Open House at the Castle tomorrow evening, december 4th from 5pm to 9pm. At this point, what she needs help with most are volunteers to stand guard in the various structures to ensure the safety of both the guests (and the structures!)

For this event, garb (or at least an approximation of it) is all that's really necessary. Given the close quarters in the chapel and tower itself, garb with hoops and corsets might not be the best option. Considering the way the weather has been changing of late, a tunic, tights (and a good warm cape), would be a good option....

In any event, if you have ever wanted to see the inside of Stargate Hermitage this is your opportunity to do so.  I was there tonight helping Kasimira with some final details, and I can tell you that everything looks wonderful.  With the candles and lanterns tomorrow night, it will truly be a magical place to be.   I hope you will join us...

The Launch of a New Endeavor

    Saturday, December 1, 2007, 10:33 AM [General]

    Good Gentles All:

Greetings and Felicitations this 1st day of December, Being the Year of our Lord, 2007.

On behalf of the volunteers, staff, and confreres of the Chivalry for Children Program(TM) (i.e. C4C), on this auspicious day I am pleased to announce the launch of our new Chivalry for Children(TM) store on Cafe Press:

    http://www.cafepress.com/cforc

I realize that there are not a whole lot of items being offered, but as I am *very* new to the whole realm of "electronic commerce", it will take me a bit of time to learn my way around their site. As the program's friends and allies, I welcome any suggestions, hints, ideas and comments you might have on how I can improve our store and what it contains.

In closing, I would like to take this opportunity to express my profound gratitude once again to Mr. Dafoe and Mr. Napier for sharing their time, talents (and artistic skills) with us. Without their gracious permission for the use of their work, our new store would not have been possible.

    Gramercy, My Lords....
